THE CURVE AND THE CRISIS

THE CURVE AND THE CRISIS

 Plans for weeks to come,

Suddenly undone.

We’ll comply and do our best,

Flatten the curve and take the test.

Reality soon settles in,

We’re missing our friends and next of kin.

To ward off gloom, we take the plunge

sign-up for Facebook, FaceTime and Zoom.

When on our walk,  Twitter tweets

 “shelter-in-place-gunman on the run”.

Picking up the pace, we wonder what he’s done.

CTV NEWS will have the facts.

Steve Murphy appears shaken as he lists the senseless acts.

So many lives have been taken!

Twenty-two beautiful souls now hugged from above

Watch their loved ones below

As we blanket them in love💔

Define us not by “the evil” that was done.

Define us as “the country🇨🇦 who comes together as one.”
