I woke earlier than usual this morning and took a stroll around “Golden Pond”.” I thought lovingly of a fun, smart, caring friend who passed away mid-afternoon yesterday. She will be sorely missed by me, her family and so many friends. A bright light has gone out in our world.
Yesterday (November 13th) around 4 pm, I went into the lanai and decided to dictate some of the ideas I had about a meditation tape given to me, unexpectantly in the morning, by a friend and bridge student who happens to be a good friend of Suzanne Giesemann. Suzanne is the author of twelve books, a metaphysical teacher and an evidential medium.
Interestingly, Suzanne was a former U.S. Navy Commander who served as special assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations, and as Aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on 9/11. (Now that’s a mouthful!). This is taken from a sentence on the back cover of her book Messages of Hope: “Never did she expect that a personal family tragedy would propel her on a mystical journey that would turn her life’s path in a most unexpected direction.” Today she addresses questions about the purpose of life, the nature of reality, and attuning to a higher consciousness. All the things I, too, have have been questioning for many years.
(Ok folks —just now as I typed that last sentence about “Cosmic Imps” my almost brand new iPad went dark, the wheel spun and it took me to the home page where I had to log in again—honestly it has never done this particular trick before in the middle of typing.)
Nothing happened—- so I scrolled down and back up. At the very top of the “blank” page was printed:
“God they’re so bright”
This was bizarre —where did this come from?
So I tried again by repeating the phrase “ I love you” —it typed:
“You are the wind beneath my wings”
That did it for me!
Yesterday, November 13th, just happened to be the 3rd anniversary of my Mother-in-Law’s passing —which just happened to be on “Friday the 13, 2015.”
Well, do you think those Cosmic Imps were at it again yesterday!
Any tips for using the iPad microphone?
