Our summer vacation was officially over today when the spare room sheets were all freshly laundered, folded and stored away in anticipation of our next visitors in the fall.
The sinus cold I caught from the kiddies allowed me to bend down to take stuff out of the dryer today without my nose dripping like a faucet. However, my eyes were a bit “leaky” as I missed those adorable little faces who are now getting ready to go back to school!
I find myself at a bit of a loss as my manuscript is in Tellwell’s capable hands, hopefully being turned into a book—hint, hint – Octavo!!!! I have been practicing on Adobe Acrobat in anticipation of getting a copy back for the first round of revisions.
In the meantime, I found a perfect computer tutor, with the patience of a saint, who is teaching me how to administer my blogs and social media sites. I had a lesson yesterday and before we knew it, two hours had passed. We had a lot of laughs as she reviewed my blog sites and sorted out the “duplication of photos” and the many “drafts” that seemed to have stored themselves as far away from my sight as possible. Today, I feel hopeful to navigate the posting of this blog with the photo in the right place so my computer guru will be proud of me.
I now have to walk the talk — “learning is the key to successful aging!” However I must add, at the time of the lesson, I was practicing perfectly —now I’m not so sure. The key must be—“remembering!”
Love it!! (“where” in the first line should be “were” — sorry, couldn’t help myself!). 🙂 xo
